Media reports, various publications or consultations with a dietician more and more often remind us of how important for our health it is to drink the right amount of water every day. It turns out that it is also very important for regular use of massage. In the following article we will explain how the massage in the massage chair is influenced not only by drinking water.... but also by eating.

Drink water before and after the massage in the chair

More than 75% of the human body is made up of water, so in order to keep it in the best possible condition, it is essential that it is constantly replenished. How does it relate to massage in the massage chair? Healthy and properly hydrated muscles are more flexible (often called “spongy”), and better prepared for the touch of the massage arms. Removal of muscle tension and stiffness is then much easier, more effective and brings sensational relief and relaxation. 

On the other hand, the lack of proper amount of water in the body can make the muscle tissue harder and more tense, making it difficult to massage. Not only does the massage itself become less pleasant, but also the flow of blood and the necessary elimination of toxins is reduced. To prevent this from happening, combine regular sessions in the massage chair with drinking at least 2 litres of water a day. The final effect will be a pleasant relaxation and well-being. 

Eating before the massage in the chair

Unlike water, food does not have such an effect on massage. The only recommendations are related to eating just before the massage. The last meal is best eaten about an hour before the planned session in the massage chair. If it is too large or difficult to digest, it may adversely affect our mood or cause unpleasant ailments ;-)) And that's all about eating. We will not mention "eat healthily" style platitudes here :-)

At the end, it is also worth reminding that while eating or drinking near the massage chair, one should be particularly careful. Flooding some parts or leftovers of the food in the massage mechanism may cause damage to the massage chair.
